Our Story

Set Free began in May 1993 by Bruce and Cheryl Lindley and two other families.

It's been our mandate right from the start that it is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick. Jesus did not come for the righteous, but for the sinners. Set Free is a Christian Community where everyone is welcome. We base our ministry on the love and grace of God that is accepting of people just the way they are. There is power for healing, deliverance, freedom and restoration through the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit.

There is teaching and care available for everyone who wants to grow as a disciple of Jesus.

Many have been equipped and released to make a difference in their sphere of influence by being empowered to follow their passion and calling.

People need to see that faith in Jesus Christ is real and works in everyday life, not just something we do on Sundays.
